PAS-3 Medical Software has been a dependable, reliable, affordable and consistent software system in the medical healthcare industry. This is the same PAS-3 Medical Software system that was developed and marketed by Michael Forrester and Artificial Intelligence, Inc. of Seattle Washington since 1976. Since that time it has been installed in over 4000 medical facilities throughout the United States. It is now owned by Calvin Howard of TNT Computers based in Prosper, TX and formerly based in New Orleans. Howard, who was a master dealer for the product since 1987, purchased the software system in 2002.
Since purchasing the software, Howard updated the code to healthcare and HIPAA compliance. The software is well-positioned using the core based MS-DOS structure and is Windows compatible from Windows 95 up to the current released windows operating system. It is a full Windows running multi-user and multi-tasking under peer-to-peer, Novell or NetBIOS 3.1 compatibility. It can run in a single-user or network structure.
Besides this comprehensive software systems clients also benefit from the knowledge and expertise that Howard has gained from working in the medical industry for more than 30 years. TNT can provide you with the computer hardware, software, training, and support that will enable you to streamline your office functions and reduce your outstanding receivables. TNT also provides efficiency consulting.
TNT has used tried and true methods to improve efficiency in medical offices. We know the difficulty involved in manually filling out paperwork. We have computerized the new HCFA form with NPI fields and it allows for paper printing or electronic transferring. This applies to government and commercial insurance carriers.
We also know the headaches involved in answering your patients’ questions about their bills. With our balance bills, the patient is able to see exactly how much has been paid on each item of a visit as well as how the payment was applied with the PPO and HMO discount.
We know how quickly receivables can become old and uncollectible. We can provide you with collections and receivables reports that contain the exact information you need to begin an aggressive collections policy.
We spend a great deal of time in our clients’ offices and we become very familiar with office and collection procedures that work well. We incorporate these procedures into other offices to help them increase their administrative, insurance billing and patient collections efficiency.
